05 AI Hazard Eye

Your cameras already see it.Now someone acts on it.

Most plants record thousands of hours of CCTV that nobody watches until after an accident. AI Hazard Eye reviews those feeds for unsafe conditions and acts, sends each alert to a safety officer, and turns confirmed alerts into CAPAs and toolbox talks.

How it works

Three steps on the shop floor.

  1. 01

    Connect existing cameras

We connect to your NVR or IP cameras through standard RTSP or ONVIF streams, check each view and mark zones such as forklift lanes and exits.

  2. 02

    AI flags, a person reviews

When the AI sees an unsafe act or condition, it sends a short clip to the safety officer, who confirms it or dismisses it as a false alarm.

  3. 03

    Fix the condition

Confirmed alerts become CAPAs, such as a painted walkway or a moved rack, or become a toolbox talk for the shift.

What AI Hazard Eye does.

PPE

Missing helmets, hi-vis vests and safety shoes in areas where they are required.

Forklift and pedestrian

People in forklift-only lanes, and forklifts and people too close at blind corners and dock doors.

Exits and fire equipment

Fire exits, extinguishers and hydrants blocked by pallets, trolleys or stock.

Spills

Liquid on walkways and around machines, before somebody slips.

Danger zones

Entry into marked zones near presses, robots, tanks and loading bays.

Smoke and flame

Visible smoke or flame outside permitted hot work areas.

Responsible AI, written down

These rules are part of the product and part of our contract with every plant.

  • Looks for unsafe conditions and acts, not identities. No face recognition
  • Every alert is reviewed by a safety officer before any action
  • AI never takes disciplinary decisions
  • Alerts are used to fix conditions and train people, not to punish individual workers
  • Video stays within the plant's systems where possible
  • Plant data is encrypted and never sold

Camera requirements

During onboarding each camera is checked and rated before it goes live, so you only get alerts from views that can support them.

  • IP cameras or an NVR that exposes RTSP or ONVIF streams
  • 1080p recommended for PPE; 720p is often enough for zones and spills
  • A clear, stable view of the area with reasonable lighting
  • An on-site edge box for plants that prefer video never leaves the premises

Questions

About AI Hazard Eye.

Does AI Hazard Eye need new cameras?
Usually no. It works with most IP cameras and NVRs already in plants. Cameras that cannot support reliable alerts are identified during setup.
Is it used to punish workers?
No. It does not identify people and it does not make decisions. A safety officer reviews each alert, and the response is to fix the condition or train the team.
What about false alarms?
Every alert is reviewed, and dismissals are fed back to tune each camera's zones and sensitivity, so false alarms drop over the first weeks.
Where is the video processed?
Where possible, video is processed on an edge device inside the plant and only short alert clips are stored. The retention period for clips is set by the plant.
